Accounting Associate

About the Accounting Associate PositionRelentless Beats is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support daily accounting operations with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in accuracy and organization.
Location: This is a full-time, in-office role with the opportunity for limited remote work after an initial probationary period.
Key Responsibilities in the Position Include:- Process vendor invoices, payments, and purchase orders accurately and on time
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Apply and track customer payments; assist with collections on past-due accounts
- Prepare weekly and monthly APIAR aging reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams and adhere to company accounting policies
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Applicants must meet the following to be considered:
- At least 2 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, AP, or AR role
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Background in live events, entertainment, or hospitality
- Full-time
- Pay range: $17-26 per hour, based on education/training and experience
- Location: Phoenix, AZ (in-office in downtown Phoenix; hybrid eligible after introductory period)
